We currently have an opportunity for a Supercheap Auto Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to support Store Operations and assist the Store Manager to drive the strong performance of the store and to ensure company procedures, management standards and values are upheld. Reporting to the Store Manager, some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Sales performance, merchandising, and meeting operational and merchandising standards
- Customer service and complaint resolution
- Inventory management
- General administration
- Assisting the Store Manager with people management, including recruitment, rostering, training, personal development and succession management
- Financial management
- Store organisation and planning, as well as communicating throughout the business
- Upholding company Workplace Health & Safety standards and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous supervisory/management experience within a specialist retail environment. You will need good communication, problem solving and planning skills, and the ability to adapt to change and delegate responsibility.
